Hempel Special Metals has successfully introduced environmental and energy management in accordance with the international standards ISO 14001 and ISO 50001. Both management systems are becoming an integral part of the company's environmental and energy management.
The aim is to systematically improve all operational processes in such a way that negative impacts on the environment and waste of resources are avoided. Our platform ECONOXX promotes the reuse of offcuts, surplus and scrap stocks as well as second choice products. Climate protection and sustainability are not empty phrases. We live and breathe sustainability; concrete measures include installing motion detectors in rooms that are not used permanently, replacing defective light bulbs with energy-saving LEDs, avoiding air travel for short journeys and reducing paper consumption.
